We love that this hides the litter box. You will need a drill bit to make holes for the hardware that goes on the front. Many people comment on this, so I know it wasn't a defect for mine. My hardware didn't go directly in without making the original holes deeper.Wish the entry hole was a little smaller. The entire point of this box was to keep my dogs out of it, but they can still easily, get through the hole and around the little divider. Even my 50lb English Bill terrier can get in there, so I’m going to have to rethink the placement in my home. However, the cabinet looks good. I got the grey and it’s a pretty warm tone that coordinated with most of our furniture. The guide hole weren’t drilled into some of the wood so it needed an electric drill bit I was able to get through it. Also, the guide holes for the latch hardware weren’t exactly symmetrical, which bugs me, but I’m probably the only person who’ll notice it. ? I’d buy again. It arrived quickly with only the few dings, that I’ve come to expect from Amazon shipping. (Seriously, I wish they’d put a bit more wrapping when they dump a heavy box into a large one.) Go ahead and get this one. It’s worth it!I bought this to house my cat litter box in our bathroom to prevent litter from getting absolutely everywhere and so that we do not step in it when we get out of the shower/bath. It looks great and is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but oh my goodness was assembly a pain in the rear! We normally do not have any issues assembling pieces of furniture and we actually quite enjoy it, but this frustrated us so much! You get everything you need in the box EXCEPT for a screwdriver that fits these screws. The screws that required an Allen wrench were so easy, but the others... forget about it. We ended up having to drill our own holes for the majority of the screws because we just could not get them in no matter what we did.Pros: Looks pleasing to the eyeCons: AssemblyEasy to put together, sturdy, and looks great in my living room! Great for hiding the cats litter box and I love that there is a partition that keeps her from just jumping out and getting litter everywhere inside. However, the pilot holes are an absolute joke and the top only secures once you put the legs on. I was able to get it together by myself in a little under an hour with my two toddlers constantly under foot. I did have an oscillating screwdriver though which helped.I purchased this with the hope of my cat having privacy from the dog. Lol- dog is able to stick her head all the way through to invade our kitty's privacy. We kind of fixed the problem by making second passage way a bit smaller.It’s a nice concept, but the screws do not fit in the holes. There were also not even holes for the screws so we had to drill our own. We finally got fed up and used different screws. It seems sturdy though at least. The doors are a little hard to open.
