I'm a huge Star Wars fan, so I decided to give this a try if the end result was my own Venator-Class Star Destroyer. This is not a build for a novice, for a child, or for anyone solely used to the quailty of name brand Lego sets.Packaging: The full kit came in a nondescript box, with 28 labeled bags. This was expected as I knew what I had ordered. What I hadn't expected was the fact that the number bags are meaningless and won't help you much. Be prepared to either spend a few hours presorting or having to rustle through bags.Instructions: Again, as I had read the product description, I knew I had to scan the QR code to download a pdf booklet. That worked great. The instructions, at times, were non-intuitive. You must be good at interpreting peg placement, and order of operations. You must be good at problem solving and thinking on the spot. You must also accept that you may have to undo significant progress to accomodate steps that aren't possible otherwise. Overall, the instructions at times could be frustrating.Quality: it's alright, not stellar. This becomes obvious at certain stages where the instructions require better quality than the bricks offer. Problem solving is the name of the game here. And I had to use my own spare pieces to augment and strengthen certain strategic points. At the end of the day, this building kit is not for the novice builder. It requires patience, ability to problem solve, and to back track. If you're willing to put up with that, then the end result is amazing. This could've been a 5 star product, but missing steps in the instructions, illogical building, over reliance on building techniques that need higher quality bricks, and hours of frustration and backtracking drop this down to 3 stars. The instructions were at times unclear, out of order, or skipped steps. There were several points where I'd build a new piece to the Venator, then have to take it apart to put it on. At one point 5 steps were skipped and I had to reference the instructions for the mirrored side of the ship to know I was doing it right. A lot of the angles in the instructions leave you guessing as to what goes where. There were a couple pieces that were not included, and other parts I had to substitute out for other Lego bricks. For example, one of the engines could not be attached the way the instructions wanted because of a different piece that was blocking it. The end result does not match the pictures the seller has of The Venator; the engines sag down and the grey pieces don't come as close to the dark grey as expected. The rooms on the inside seem like a nice touch during the initial building, but seem to hinder the quality of the exterior design. I was satisfied with it when I finally finished it after having several large gaps between building it. For anyone else interesting in buying this, expect a lot of frustration in the building process.this was a fun build but some of the parts were hard to put togetherWe knew this was not a Lego product. So, the rough edges weren't a problem even though our fingers were sore very quickly. The separation tool was included, but not 100% effective. It still took some serious effort to take them apart. Also, the instructions were NOT up to par- the correct sequence not being represented. In other words, you may have to take the engines back off to complete it correctly. Another thing to consider is that they give you no extra pieces like Lego does and I had several pieces missing. But, the price was good, comparatively.Awesome service if I had a problem they didn’t took more than a day to reply. Awesome products and service. The product was a gift, which arrived without a box or instructions. Seemed used & the pieces didn’t fit. Extremely disappointing!Instructions were garbage stuck on part 330 or so and it literally skipped an entire way to build somethingFound some blocks missing
