I held off a little on buying this because it’s kind of a pricey “toy”, I wasn’t sure of the quality, and I wondered whether my kitties would use it much. (They tend to get bored pretty quickly when I buy a new toy.) I have to say that it has really exceeded my expectations and was worth every penny.I have two younger kitties and one is a bit of a couch potato while the other is hyper-active and really high strung. She used to spend a lot of time either pacing around the house meowing loudly or racing around wildly. It seemed like she was bored and just really wanted more physical activity and stimulation. (Even though I play with her a lot.)Enter the kitty wheel and she’s a changed cat. It took her about 10 seconds to figure it out and now she’s obsessed with it. Now when she starts to pace and cry she pretty quickly remembers the wheel and heads straight for it. On and off, on and off through the day. They both love it when I use the laser pointer while they run so they can chase it, but they’ll also use it by themselves. Especially hyper kitty!So, other than being a game changer for hyper kitty, it’s well constructed, much heavier/sturdier than I expected, and has pretty good assembly directions for putting it together. It does take a long time to put it together and I would strongly recommend using a power tool with all of those screws. (I used a drill with Phillips head bit). But, it was definitely worth the couple of hours that I spent on it. It’s one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time and I would definitely recommend it!
