Let’s be clear: this is thin MDF furniture from China. Don’t expect Crate and Barrel quality.We assembled the cabinet and put the PetSafe electronic litter box inside, which barely fit (WITHOUT the cover). I drilled a small hole in the back panel to run the power cable to a nearby outlet.Due to the size of the litter box, we were NOT able to install the interior divider. Not a big deal, the cabinet is study enough without it.There is an entrance in the right side of the cabinet, which CANNOT be re-configured to be on the left. Not a problem for me, but it may be an issue for folks who want the entrance on the left.I had no issues assembling the cabinet. The hardware and pre-drilled holes were sufficient.Once assembled, the cabinet is sturdy enough. It won’t support a lot of weight, so don’t stand on it. And don’t be too rough when moving it, or the wood can crack.Most importantly, it drastically reduced the odor from the litter box. If I haven’t cleaned it for a while, I can eventually smell it if I walk nearby, but it keeps the smell contained to that area and it no longer drifts throughout the house.We lined the interior with shelf paper to prevent the wood from absorbing odor and moisture.I recommend this product.I am so happy i bought this, it is so beautiful and no one knows that the litter is in there . I’ve been looking for something to keep my litter area clean and this has been a dream. There is no litter on the floor ever ! So happy with this purchaseI only buy things with more than 1000 reviews but I was desperate to get this extra large litter mat I bought to fit into the cabinet. This one was the perfect size for that and I was ready to risk it with no reviews !There are only picture instructions and no tools to screw the pieces in, you need your own screwdrivers, one big and one small. Make sure you tighten all the screws all of the way because I didn’t and had to re do because this thing is very flimsy when putting together. But it works! Also, every single piece came extremely dusty so make sure you have a duster before you buy!But all in all it arrived on time, it’s super cute and sturdy enough for the job, it fits what I need and I’m pretty sure it would fit another litter box too minus my current litter and deodorizer. ( I have the little sifter litter box from arm and hammer )If you’re capable to make your own piece I would definitely recommend to do so but if you are incapable like myself then this would definitely be a good option.I gave 4 stars because originally I received the order with some parts missing, but after contacting the seller they had quick replies and also shipped out an entire new product instead of sending each individual item that was missing.. Assembling was a hassle, but everything came in pieces so I figured it would had.. but overall nice turn out. Satisfied completely and my 2 kitties love it as well.The product description and their stock photos are incorrect and misleading. It does NOT have an optional sided entryway that you can assemble the door at left or at right as needed. The sides are fabricated to work in only one way; it can only be assembled with the entry on the right-hand side. The option of having the entryway on the left was the primary reason we purchased this Litter Box Enclosure, since we have a very specific space for it in our home. It would have been returned, but unfortunately, we cut up the box for recycling after we unpacked all the parts.Wish we saw the review dated 11/21/21, however, we received and assembled the Litter Box Enclosure just prior to that date. We are disappointed with this product. Assembly was not difficult, but for the fact that the entryway CANNOT be assembled on the left side. Ours also arrived with scratches on the top that they tried to cover with the swipe of a black marker, on BROWN PAINT, which looks awful.Very unsatisfied. Not worth anywhere near the cost. Especially given their incorrect and misleading description, and the fact that it is cheap MDF board with a lousy finish and their feeble attempt at factory touchups, with the wrong color.Would certainly not recommend at $159.99 plus tax. May be worth $59 at best.The assembly was easy until I got to the doors. There are no pre-drilled holes to attach the hinges on the door itself and the pre-drilled holes on the cabinet portion we’re not in the right spot so I had to make new ones. Do NOT follow the instructions and attach door hinges last.This is super cute and stylish.Disappointed with this product. Not what I expected. Building it was not hard but it was time-consuming and just kind of tricky at times to do alone. The doors are hanging crooked in the end. It also arrived with black marks on the top - on the piece that goes on the top. Not impressed with that. Overall, I just feel extremely underwhelmed and super unsatisfied for how much I paid. I would never pay more than $40 for this thing, it's not worth more than that. So I just feel a little ripped off. But also too annoyed at this point to dismantle it and return it. Would not recommend.
