Our kitten loved this toy! It's so hard finding him something he will enjoy cause he's so picky when it comes to his toys. We found that something he can scratch on and intact with with us is his favorite type of toy. There was pretty much zero assembly. It came with a spring toy to stick on the scratching part, but he's pulled that off. He drags it all over the house lol.In terms of stability, he's 14.5 lbs and sits on it often are there are no dents, tears, or faded color. It pretty much still looks brand new. It's hard to find a toy for a cat that continues to work after a few months because it's usually destroyed by then, however its been a few months of us having this toy and its still intact and he still enjoys it!I would definitely recommend this if you want a toy your cat can play with with you or alone!My 10 yr old torie was unimpressed, besides scratching the cardboard, so I gave it to my friend who has two brother kitties a few months old - they love it! It has enough features to keep them mesmerized! If your cat is very playful and fascinated by the world, this is for them.I've been waiting to get a whack a mole for my cat, and since then, it was fun watching him play with me and it.My cat likes parts of this toy. But at least she plays with it.Because the little birds don’t drop below eye level of the box, the cats weren’t interested in it as a toy. They use the scratcher part though, and it is made of high quality material.Cat gave no EffsCute, but handles flimsy!So disappointed and my bad for not reading the reviews before purchase. The cardboard scratcher section was only have attached. It's glued onto the box with no supports underneath so one step onto it has it ready to fall into the containment. I am returning this product.
