This shoe is almost fantastic. Almost.The style is a perfect fit to be worn as a work shoe or a casual shoe as you see appropriate. The size is accurate and the construction seemed sturdy at first.However, after wearing it for three months of what I'd call average use, the single-stitch threading on the side tore through the thin layer of rubber that connected the leather to the sole, (the leather body does not connect to the sole itself). In one shoe I have a hole that I can stick a couple fingers through while the other is slightly behind in degradation.This doesn't seem to be dumb luck so much as an egregious design flaw. It is the natural bending of the toes that started the rubber to tear on each seam.I wish they would fix this flaw and re-issue the shoe as I was ready to give it a five star review prior to the shoe failing.On a positive note, Catfootwear.com issued a return and replaced the shoe with a slightly more expensive boot model at no additional cost. I give much credit to them for standing behind their brand.Soles came off after 3 hours of regular walking.The shoe was not send as what i have order, also the side had show fracture line and it only less than 3 months.
