My two-year-old daughter is obsessed with stacking things and also with animals so I knew she would love this toy! Even though it says for ages 3+ she is able to stack up to five animals! She also loves playing with them creatively when she isn’t stacking them or pairing them off by color or similar shape. The first time I got them out for her she played with them for over 45 minutes! She has played with them every day since then and I am continually impressed with her stacking creations! I love that it builds fine motor skills in such a fun and engaging way. It was even a fun challenge for me to try to stack all the animals, too. I also love that the animals are made of wood as I try to buy mostly toys made out of natural materials. This is such a beautiful and engaging toy and I have a feeling it will be a favorite for years to come!As far as materials, the animals are made of wood and will be able to handle regular abuse without issue. The main problem is that the paint is glossy and it’s very difficult to stack the animals as there’s no friction between the pieces. My kids still enjoy rearranging the animals in a line but if you really want to be able to stack and balance these animals look elsewhere. Especially if you have younger kids.My kids love this but even my 9 year old very engineer minded sons gets annoyed bc the animals fall due to whatever paint or coating, they just seem very “slippery” maybe it just is our box we would like to try another balancing game as it is very enjoyable until the kids 3,6,9 get bored/ frustratedMy daughter LOVES this toy so much and every child who comes over for a play date does as well. I started giving these as gifts for birthdays!!This is a great toy and a fun challenge as well! You can stack the animals on a hard surface first then work your way up to stacking on the rocking piece. My 5 year old and I have an ongoing challenge of who can stack the most animals before they fall and he’s actually winning!Not for babies because some pieces are very small.This is an excellent wooden toy stacking game! The product has beautiful colors, rounded edges, and nice soft paint. The pieces are easy to grasp for small hands. My son is four year old and we have had so much fun playing this together! It’s great for hand-eye coordination, color and shape learning and creativity. Great quality and price too. I just love it!These look really cute, but the have VERY SMALL pieces that are a choking hazard if you have young children. I bought it for my grandson's second birthday, but will wait a while to give it to him.This toy is great. Helps teach kids patience, balance and steadiness. Love how each piece has a different color and animal, you can also use it to teach them about colores. It is so fun to watch them play with this and help them stack the animals up. Definitely recommend it.
