Princess the Cat vs. Snarl the Coyote has been a huge hit with our elementary age sons! We bought the book a few weeks ago. Our initial plan was to give it to the kids as an Easter gift, but after I read it, my wife and I decided to get it out sooner. We have had a blast reading _Princess_vs._Snarl_ aloud a short chapter or two at a time. The story is good, but the characters are where the fun is: we've had a blast coming up with voices for superior Princess, wide-eyed Max, villain underling Buck, wise old Chief, and more. Of late one of the most common questions at the dinner table has been, "Are we going to read Princess tonight?!" The advertised 3rd - 6th grade target audience is just about right for the humor and levels of conflict and suspense. But even our preschooler is getting into it. We are about 4/5 of the way through the book, and the boys are already jockeying for position in the race to claim _Princess_vs._Snarl_ to read by himself once we've finished reading it together.
