Kids had loads of fun building this. Motor didn't work at first, but did second time.My daughter confidence went through the roof with this project. It worked perfectlySolar cell works wellReally grabbed the attention of all the children.Easy to make... and need strong light to get sunpowerSmaller than I thought it would be, but it's cute and challenging.Not sure a 4 or 5 year old could handle the littlest pieces.I bought this for my grandson to introduce and explore solar energy. At 5 I had to help him build this but it was perfect to explain the concept. Everything fits together well and provides multiple builds to keep interest fresh.If you're having trouble getting enough charge to make it work, I'd suggest making sure the panel is facing the direct sunlight.The design makes this perfect to explain alternate energy and how it works.The parts don't fit together well. They either don't go together or fall apart easily. Good idea, just poorly executed.
