I have a lot of steel toe boots. I'm an engineer who works in a variety of situations that require safety gear and these are my favorite because they look nice in a casual office environment, but I don't always have to change shoes when I work in the lab or visit sites. In fact, no one has been able to tell they are steel toes at all- I always have to explain! They are not bulky at all, so they don't feel out of place or uncomfortable when I take off my safety clothes and just wear them with jeans/office clothes (that said, I don't wear them with dressier business clothes, and certain environments require a much more heavy duty boot: laces, ankle support, met guards, etc). They are very comfortable, lightweight (for steel toes; they actually have a weight that reminds me more of a comp toe), nice traction (A+ on ice), and are waterproof.They fit true to size (maybe a *little* snug just below the widest point of the foot, but stretch a bit- no problem now but if you want to wear a thick sock or liner for winter I would maybe size up a half size. Length and toe are great), require zero breaking in time, have a removable sole, and wipe down with a paper towel and water easily to keep them clean. 10/10 would recommend.
