For me they were not a good purchase. Not because of the item.They won’t stay on because the cat is able to get them off. So I am using waterproof in addition to the Velcro.These do not breathe well and my cat's paws felt very warm when these were on - I can't imagine how hot they would feel in the summer heat. She managed to get one off twice within an hour, even after I made sure they were on securely. I wanted to return even though she hadn't worn them very long, but she ripped one trying to get it off. I was hoping to keep these on her to prevent her from digging claws into my leather sofa, but these are not practical for permanent wear. However, I can see them being useful to prevent your cat from scratching you while clipping her nails etc.
