AdorableI am happy to have found collars that are simple and are the same color as the previous collars that my cats wear. They look soft and I am happy that there is no reflective tape that will break down and come off over time when they scratch and play.This collar has done its job. My cat returned home without it one day, demonstrating that the breakaway function works. A good summaritan found the collar and used PetLink to return it to me.I purchased this collar for a feral cat that has been around my house for a few months that I have gained the trust of. Now that it is getting dark later I wanted her to have something reflective to wear since she is outdoors. She also likes to bring me dead "presents" . I think they are to show appreciation for the food, water and medicine that I have provided to her, however I am hoping that the attached bell will alert her small prey as I am trying to discourage this behavior.About the collar :* I ordered pink. The color is exactly as it appears in the picture.*I find the reflective quality of the collar to be sufficient. When I took a picture of the cat wearing it you could clearly see the reflectivity in the photo. I also like the fact that the reflective material is woven/sewn into the collar.*The bell is neither too obnoxious nor too quiet. I can hear her trotting across the back yard but when she is calmly walking through the house it doesn't make a sound.*The fit was accurate. I wasn't sure what size she would need as I believe she was a spring kitten. She looks very small but turned out to be 6 lbs. She's a bit smaller than she should be for her age. That being said the collar was not quite tight enough on her at its smallest adjustment. I fixed this by using a stitch ripper to take off the small logo sewn on to the collar with gave me enough adjustment for a perfect fit.*The break away mechanism functions as it should. It might be a little on the tough side as far as break away collars go but it's certainly not too difficult to pull apart should she get herself into a situation where it would be necessary.I am very happy to have purchased this collar and would definitely buy another should I need one. It has all the features I wanted and the cat does not seem to mind wearing it at all.Bought this because it was cute. The thing that made it cute was the little peace, love, and paws logo. Unfortunately, that was also it's downfall. I have an 8-month-old kitten. It was a little too big, because the logo would not allow the collar to be shortened as much as I needed. It was an easy fix with a stitch ripper. Be aware, if you have a tiny kitten this may not fit properly. I could have just bought a regular lavender reflective collar, and saved myself a few bucks.I have two 12 week old kittens. Both weighing around 3-4 lbs each. These collars are a bit loose on them, even though I adjusted it to the smallest size. There’s room in the collar for 2-3 of my fingers though. But it’s no big deal, they can grow into them. The bells attached are nice if you want to know where they are in the house. But I took it off from the collars because they like to play a lot when I’m sleeping. I like how the bells were detachable. The breakaway collar doesn’t break open easily but is still effective enough to break open if there was a incident, like the kitty getting caught on something. There is some wear and tear on the collar but only on my kitten’s collar who tends to scratch at her collar. The other collar is in good condition. I would say it’s a pretty good collar for its price.For those who say the collars stain their cats. Just give it a good rinse before using. I like to think it’s like brand new jeans but for cats.I was looking for a breakaway collar with reflective material that I could get a slider tag for, in case my cats get out in a busy college area. I was happy to find this collar, because the reflective material is woven in instead of painted on. But the breakaway feature works too well. My cat lost her collar twice in two days, and I just got the collar. I am waiting on the second one for my other cat, but I will probably have to send them right back.Edit: My second cat’s collar arrived a couple of weeks ago, and it seems to work fine. It hasn’t fallen off once. Maybe the first one is just defective. I’m going to try to get it replaced.I bought 2 of these ~a month ago for my 2 kittens. I'm having a tough time writing a review for this product, however, because for 1 of my kittens this was the perfect product and for the other... not so much. To his credit, my one kitten is very mischievous, smart, and determined. By some feat, he immediately started gnawing on the collar by licking his chest and kind of maneuvering the collar up and opening his mouth really wide such that he could get it into his mouth. Even though I would stop him every time I caught him doing this, he obviously continued when I wasn't around, because about a week and a half ago he had managed to chew straight through it. My other kitten reacted the same way but gave up on gnawing on the collar after the first few days or so, and his collar is still intact and very nice looking. This might not have been an issue if they were full grown cats because I feel like it would be harder for an adult cat to re-adjust the collar in a way that they could chew on it (like maybe the skinny kitten necks facilitated this?) but for $10 it does suck a little bit to have to replace it in such a short period of time. I went to the local pet store and bought a similar collar for $4 so I don't think I can really argue that it's a good deal either... Either way, buyer beware; maybe it'll work out better for you than it did for me.Good quality collar in a pretty colour that was easy to adjust for my small cat - who is not quite small enough for a kitten collar but too big for a standard size. However, this collar would also suit an average size cat. The safety clasp is also quite robust, unlike some clasps that come apart too easily.A good value, smart collar for my silver tabby who usually sheds her collars in disgust. I did remove the bell, which was easily done; as it means she just gets chased by the dog down the lane. It's now over a month and the collar is in tact, looks as smart as day 1 and so we're all very pleased. Highly recommend and will be ordering one for her sister!I'm very happy with my purchase. The collar is as described and arrived sooner than anticipated.It fits wells and was easy to adjust. After a few weeks of use it's still looking good and showing no signs of wear.My cat seems to find it comfortable, as he's not tried to remove it and seems pretty unphased about wearing it.I'd definitely recommendPlease don’t buy this for your pet. It has a horrible coating of printed plastic on it all the way around the collar that isn’t shown in the seller photos.For starters it means that the collar looks white rather than the colour you’ve purchased. Secondly the plastic coating melted whilst my cat was wearing it and stuck to his fur. We only noticed when we removed the collar to brush his coat and the collar remained partly stuck to him. Had this 1 week!I’m shocked and appalled at the quality of this for £11! It’s absolutely disgusting that plastic got onto our cat which he has probably ingested when grooming!Excellent service and very prompt delivery. Very good quality collar. My cat had her previous one a year ago and it still looks good although the reflective strips have faded a bit - which is to be expected after all that time. So, time to renew for her safety. Definitely recommend!
