I really like this toy. Jack is a 99lb 2 year old lab. He either likes to gently carry his ‘babies’ (of the fluffy variety) around, or goes absolutely ham and tears apart a ‘baby’ in minutes. I bought this and he stole it off the counter before I could present it to him like a proud Mum. It’s pretty good, he did bite off the turtles eyes fairly soon but I’m giving it a good review because it *entertained* him. He laid quietly and chewed on the toy with minimal damage (just the eyes). Only down side is I laid on the floor with him and he got excited and dropped the turtle directly on my face. It’s heavy! I do recommend for dogs with stronger jaws. Hope this helps! There are "dog toys for tough chewers" and then there are "dog toys for German Shepherds." I'm happy to say that this toy falls into the latter category, so I've gotta give it 5 stars for that. That being said, it's not my dog's favorite toy, but it is sturdy as heck, which was what I was looking for. Of course he'd rather have (yet another) lamb chop to absolutely destroy, so that could be why this one's not his favorite.Perfectly withstood ehh boxer/bully super chewer. These turtles are amazing! I have a 120lb Rottweiler and and bull terrier/belgian malinois. These toys are the only ones that last! I bought the first one about 3 months ago and it’s the only surviving toy! They both love it and glad we finally found a tough toy for them !!This toy is PERFECT for TOUGH CHEWERS! My Aussies destroy toys! NOT this one!We got a new dog 2 months ago who's a year old that we didn't know upon adopting him is a MAJOR chewer and has already gone through just about every dog toy we have, toys that have lasted years with my other 2 dogs. He enjoys the nylon bones, but I didn't like how sharp they get and that he was eating the pieces, so wanted something rubber that had less of a chance of hurting him. I decided on this one because of the shape, which after 3 days, he has still not changed or gotten through at all. I'm optimistic that this one will keep him busy for a long while, all he's managed to do is bite off a couple of little feet haha.We have a 6 month old mini bernedoodle and he LOVES this toy. He can chew, and chew on it and it doesn't come apart. It does have a squeaker in the middle but he can't bit hard enough to get to it which seems to frustrate him. This toy has some weight to it and I feel like it is very sturdy. If you have a puppy or a medium-small breed dog this toy is as indestructible as you can get for a dog toy. I imagine a larger breed would be able to take it apart after a while.Nearly indestructible! Great product. Have had two for several months now, and my aggressive chewers, who like to chew on concrete, have yet to put a dent in them!Ordered for my dog who to be fair is destructive, I have ordered a few of the tougher toys and they usually last a week or so, never expected the squeaker to last long as they're always the first to go, this one last 3 or 4 minutes, the round rubber circle the squeaker is set in came out not long after once the dog got his teeth inside it wasn't long before there was bits of rubber everywhere and the toy had to be binned before becoming a choking concern.Definitely not as tough as others on here, 8 for half an hour is a bit steap. My samoyed puppy loves to play and chew he is now 11months, we have gone through so many different versions of toys as he chews through everything in different timeframes only a few toys have we found that he cant get through and last well. I see this and i wasnt sure it was going to be any good as you cant tell what sort of plastic / rubber it will be and i just brought it anyway to try. we have been very pleasantly suprised heavier that i imagined and very strong, he loves it i would recommend for strong chewers well worth the money.I have a 2 year old male husky and all the toys he has had last no longer then a day ...This toy is amazing, he loves it. He has had it a week , I must add it no longer squeaks and now has no feet but he loves it and I definitely will buy again .The pros.....This toy is a really good shape and bounces in an unpredictable way which the dogs (2 eight month old labs) love. It is also a lovely shaped thing for them to carry around. The cons..... it lost its head in ten minutes shortly followed by its feet and tail. It has to be said that since then it has remained maimed but not completely destroyed so I will seriously consider another oneThis has been a great buy for my 4 year old border collie girl (who has a penchant for chewing & ripping things apart!) I genuinely thought she would get bored of it quite quickly, but everyday she has returned the toy to me to play fetch. Be warned - it is pretty hard, so make sure you give your dog a bit of notice before throwing it to them (unless you want them to have a nice klonk on the head LOL!) It takes quite a bit of force to get the squeaker going, but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing haha! At least she is having to work at it to achieve the noise, so shes not losing interest. Overall, a really good buy!
