Can a catnap really be the key to victory?!While looking for her cat, Kansuke, Yumi lands smack-dab in the middle of a mystery! Cats all over Matabi Academy have been disappearing . . . so Yumi decides to play detective and investigate. Unbeknownst to her and the student council, however, is that the demon cat Kaen's disciples have infiltrated the school in human guise in an attempt to steal the school founder's secrets! And when Yumi's investigation leads her to the heart of those secrets-the old library-she and two student council members find themselves trapped in Rachi the sickle spider's web . . . with none of their cat partners anywhere to be found! Will Kansuke, Sakura, and Raimu make it in the nick of time to save their friends?

So far, this seems like your typical manga series where a group of high schoolers with strange powers need to defeat godly beings to save the world. Currently it's still at the stage where we're learning about each of the member's powers. But I'm far more attached to this series then most others at only 2 volumes in. It's hard to describe at this point in the story why I like it, but I feel like this story is going somewhere interesting/worthwhile. I already have a few theories and I'm anxious to see if they come true. Volume 2 definitely has more eye candy of females then the first volume. I've just learned to never expect a reason for why a female villain is fighting in her underwear...I admire the art of this series, it's lovely to look at. This manga-ka has a nice style.
