I got this for a family who just rescued a cat. We have 3 as we have several cats. Ours absolutely love them. And they wanted to claim this one. I left it on the table in the shipping bag only to find it on the floor and some kick marks in the bag. That's how good this product is. They smell the catnip through the packaging!It doesn’t do what it claimed it does. At least with my cats, they have no desire to play with it. It may work fine with other cats, but not mine.Excellent Durability!! Bought in April 2022... 5 months later still in great shape. I bought the canvas camo one and the kitties love it. It's made it through 3 adult cats, 2 teens and 4 kittens so far. So impressed and so are our cats! (and yes... too many cats... although the kittens are have gone on to new homes!!)My cat jumped up on the rack I placed the package and was tearing into the package! He immediately carried it off as soon as I gave it to him. The younger cat started to lick it immediately(he is a licker!) now, not even 5 minutes later they are tearing around the house. Will let you know how they hold up later.We have two senior cats, 16 and 13. They generally don't care much for playing, except sometimes the younger one will play with my purse strap and silly things like that. Based on some reviews here that said their senior cats enjoyed these, I thought I'd give them a try. When I first opened the package and threw one to them, they went crazy and fought over it. For some reason, neither of them seemed to care about the second one. They showed interest for a while, playing with it and lying next to it, but they haven't touched them since that first day. I've tried throwing the toys and wiggling them in front of the cats, but they don't go after them. Too bad. Still, they are well made, and I'm sure other cats would love them. Mine are just weird about what they like to play with!I walked through my door from work holding this package in my hand - the toy inside the plastic mailing envelope as well as the sealed plastic wrapping it came in. My cat started jumping up for the envelope with that wild "catnip look" in his eyes. I hurriedly opened the package and tossed the toy onto the floor. He never tired of it, so I eventually had to grab it and hide it away on my closet shelf. The next day I found kitty sitting patiently at my closet door, so I took it out for him to have some exercise. A few minutes later, I notice that all is calm. I walk over to see that the seam had opened, and a bit of stuffing was spilled out onto the floor. I took it away before kitty could possibly ingest the stuffing. I may try to sew all around the original seam as a reinforcement, but I am disappointed that this happened on only day two. I gave an overall rating of 4 because he did love it while it lasted.My cat loves this toy and snuggles and plays with it a lot. It's long enough for his bigger frame and so far seems to be pretty sturdy. Great buy!This kicker thing looked great, couldn't wait for my new kitty to play with it but -- nope. She wouldn't even look at it. My last female cat didn't like catnip either, must be a female thing. Now I know. Not the Catnip Kicker's fault, my kitty gal just doesn't care for catnip...
