This an book can be enjoyed by all concientious cat owners and cat lovers alike .Ofr course all cats are clever!Every cat owner should have this, even if you want it only to have some fun with your cat!My daughter used this book for a school project. Very interesting, although I'm not sure if it really measures your cats intelligence.This is a terrific little book, filled with amusing pictures and tests to figure out what your cat's level of intelligence is. We had fun testing our 3 cats. A must for those true cat lovers!Mine has a 120 IQI have left my own review as the book has been amazing, my intelligence has finally been realised and my quest for world conquest can begin.from the catThere are some simple scientific tests of animal learning, problem solving and individual differences which are pleasant for both cat and human and which I was hoping would be included in this book. But it contains nothing like this. It’s a no-brain entertainment book – and obviously liked by very many people for this reason. It doesn’t go into practical procedures for investigating any of the topics in the book. Many topics don’t even have an ostensible relationship to cat intelligence – but without such padding the book would be woefully slim indeed. For the rare cat owner who might be serious about investigating / comparing cats’ intelligence, don’t waste your money. I bought during a super-cheap price offer, thank goodness, and gave it away within 30 minutes of receiving it.Bought this book as a gift for my children, so they can practice for their english classes. We've had a fun time evaluating our cat's apparently well developed mental acuity. We appreciate that this is not science and probably mostly a fun activity, but at the same time I do think they picked up some language as well as a bit of understanding of general concepts of intelligence.The book is basically a sequence of clearly presented questions to be scored and summed. Some of the questions naturally led into interesting discussions on what intelligence is and how it is different from instincts or activities that "cats just do". Some of the questions are less serious or even strictly relevant to actually measuring intelligence, but if you really expect to actually scientifically measure your cats intelligence and bought this book you probably have a lot of serious reading to do.Bought as a gift. Flicked through and it appears to be a tick box question per page to assess how clever your cat is. Totally uneccesary product of course as we know already that cats are super clever and could take over the world if only the could stay awake.Arrived quickly, well packaged and in immaculate condition.I have three cats all who seem to have a quite low ability to do simple tasks, this book was an interesting way to check just how thick they were.
