I love this type of product, it's hand-cranked (no battery), rotating dipper (simple!). The only issue is that the rotating octagon of bubble-wands is evidently friction-fit, and little toddler-hands has pulled it off a few times. I'm not sure if the right choice is to look for some sort of glue, epoxy, plastic/pvc weld to make it permanently attached, or run the risk of potentially losing the bubble wand thing. :shrug:Not that expensive, requires a bit of a steady-hand otherwise the kid will be sloshing bubble-juice around all over the place (and you need to pour in ~2-4 oz to replenish), and because it's mechanical v. electrical it's much more likely to last longer.The kids in our lives love it when we bring this around. It makes a good steady stream of bubbles and is pretty easy to use. Problem is that it isn't a closed system for the fluid, so even the slight jostling or turning it unlevel causes the bubble solution to spill out the fishes mouth. Not a big deal, but requires refilling pretty often. Bubbles are on the small side, but there are a lot of them.Works better than expected but giving four stars bc I don’t think a toddler can rotate the handle on their own. Definitely an older kid but I don’t mind as my toddler loves all the bubbles that comes out of this thing.It is lightweight bit sturdy. Fun colored. Easy to operate straight out of the box. Comes ready to go with no need for batteries. Manual operation. A child could do it.I feel it is slightly overpriced and it is noisy.Our baby loves this bubble machine. It makes so many small bubbles that float for the perfect amount of time. The crank wheel is better than an electronic one because you can control how fast or slow the bubbles are made. Highly recommended.Seems very easy to use for my 4 year old so giving it one star. Did not work at all. Put bubbles in as instructed, started turning the handle heard a loud click and then nothing. Huge disappointment.$36.44 for two of these, just to break a week after having them.My husband and I was even using them with the kids whenever they broke so I know they wasn't bring rough with them. Save your money.broke 2 minutes after we opened the package. threw it in the recycling bin.
